KRISTINA BRYAN
Instructor (Heels)
Hi, I'm KRISTINA!
I'm Kristina! I’ve been dancing as long as I can remember. Born and raised in Madison, I grew up training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, poms, show choir, musical theatre… anything I could get my hands on. I received my BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in dance from Ball State University (chirp chirp) and have been performing professionally ever since. Some of my favorite credits include Beauty and the Beast (Babette); Godspell (Morgan); Footloose (Wendy Jo); You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Lucy); and a singer/dancer in Hot Rhythm Nights at Dorney Park with RWS.
My journey with Barrio began when I moved back home during the pandemic and joined the Barrio Dance Factory program. I quickly fell in love with the community, started working the front desk, and now I’m excited to bring a new style to the Barrio class roster: theatre jazz. This summer you can find me choreographing and dancing in an indie movie that films in NYC, choreographing the Wizard of Oz with the Children’s Theatre of Madison, assistant choreographing the Grand Carnivale festival and parade at Worlds of Fun in KC, teaching classes with the Madison Ballroom Company, and of course teaching and training at my favorite place in the world, Barrio. #danceisfun #morereggaeton2k24
