Service Description

Join Barrio Dance for our youth hip hop class designed for ages 9-12, where young dancers explore foundational hip hop skills, develop body awareness and control of movement, and unleash their energy within hip hop choreography. This engaging 5-week program culminates in a short, informal showcase for parents, allowing children to display their newfound talents. Experience the joy of dance in a structured environment that celebrates community and fosters respect for the art of hip hop. For dancer 9-10 (with advanced hip hop experience), plus 11-12 y/o hip hop experience recommended - level placement subject to director's judgement. Directed by AJ Juarez. Led by Barrio Dance instructors. Includes 5 weeks of educational programming, and a short parent showcase on the last week. 50% Scholarships are available pending application.
