Block Party Registration

BLOCK PARTY PERFORMANCES

We're so excited to showcase YOU, our Barrio dance community members and students at the Barrio Block Party (it's like a Barrio recital, but better!). Performing is an experience like no other, so we're offering performance courses/pieces in a variety of styles and levels so that you can hit the Orpheum stage this November.

Whether you've performed before or you've never had the chance to dance onstage, now is the time - our instructors will guide you through the rehearsal and performance experience - get ready to shine!

WEEKLY

TRAINING

All participants must train regularly at Barrio in the level, in the style, and with the instructor they are performing with (average 1x/week). This ensures you feel will confident and have the right skills for success in your instructor's style!

REHEARSAL

ATTENDANCE

Each performance piece will rehearse 10-10.5 hours total. Participants are expected to attend every rehearsal possible, with no more than 3 hours absent. Please email all absences to barriodancestudio@gmail.com

BE A BARRIO

STUDENT

To participate, you will have had to have taken at least 20 classes at Barrio Dance this year. If you're new, welcome! You will be required to purchase a 20 class pass and take all 20 classes before the end of November.

The purpose of the Barrio Block Party performances is to showcase Barrio Dance students who train and take classes regularly at Barrio. This is a chance to show off the hard work and growth that takes place every day within our space.

REQUIREMENTS

By registering for a Block Party Performance piece, you agree to these requirements and expectations. Failure to adhere to these requirements could result in removal from the performance piece.
